The densest documented cluster of celebration and mockery was not a political party but people in 'helping professions,' especially teachers. The 1776 Project PAC said it gathered 100+ reports of educators celebrating the killing. Named cases include an Iowa teacher who posted 'one Nazi down!'; a South Carolina teacher who wrote 'America became better today'; a New York math teacher who wrote 'At least he died happy… surrounded by white folk!' with 'was/were' pronouns; and a North Carolina instructor who told a class 'I'll praise the shooter; he had good aim.'
